WHO CARES?
If there is someone we can all learn from, it is Jesus Christ (Matthew 11:29). He is our example. He is our role model. He is God in the flesh who came in the likeness of man to deliver man from the power of death. He came in the flesh to feel what you and i feel so that He can be a just judge of all men. He wept, slept and was hungry. He was persecuted, betrayed, denied, challenged, wrongly accused, deserted, condemned and killed. He went through it all - just for you.
There is nothing you are going through today that He doesn't know about already and not only that, He can also feel you. He was there. Are you being betrayed, challenged, accused wrongly, denied, abused, persecuted or condemned? He was too and He feels your pains. Do you ever feel that no one cares about what and how you feel? I have good news for you, Jesus cares.
He wants you to cast all your cares upon Him because He really and truly cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). He will never leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5; Psalm 37:25-26). Your husband may disappoint you and your wife may betray you even your children and best friends may hurt your feelings badly but Jesus Christ will always bring comfort. He is a friend you can trust anytime and a brother that will never deny you. Put your faith and trust in Him and you will always find comfort in times of pain.
