NOT MY WILL
Have you ever thought of what God is saying about you? Everytime things are not going the way we want, we try to do every possible thing to make sure that what we want happen failing to realize that God may be saying something different.
Human being by nature is self centered. Until a man is born again the adamic nature remains. Do you know that it was the self centeredness of Eve and also of Adam that the devil worked upon in the Garden of Eden? He knew they were so full of themselves and cared so much about themselves that they will forget about God at the slightest push. Even a little child, the innocent one, manifest this sign too. At the very beginning of life, they are so selfish that when they want something, they do everything (like crying) to get it irrespective of who is affected.
Do you do the same? How are you handling your life? Why do you subject yourself to so much stress because your will must be fulfilled? Do you ever think of what God may be saying in this situation? Do you think He has a say in your life? Are you on your own? You didn't create yourself, you know? He created you and for a reason that is best known to Him. So why are you letting the enemy torment your soul. Why are you allowing the peace of your home to be destroyed because what you want is not happening? Why are you destroying your good health because of a little thing? Why?
The Scriptures say "why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for i shall yet praise Him..." (Psalm 42:5,11). Those were the words of a man who had gone to the edge. We are naturally not very happy when things don't happen the way we want but you are not the first and if there is any lesson you can learn from anyone, learn from Jesus Christ. He was there too and these were the words He uttered "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as i will, but as you will." (Matthew 26:39). Next time you are faced with any situation, never leave God out of it. He may have a say and it may be different from what you are saying.
